Clothing and Bikes
Clothing
The club does have a club uniform, however it is not expected that new members would purchase a uniform immediately. For uniform enquiries see the club Treasurer.
The club requires that riders wear the following items:
- A helmet that fits correctly and is not damaged
- Shorts or track pants that are close fitting
- T-shirt or long sleeve top (sleeveless shirts are not permitted)Covered shoes - we suggest runners
Racing Bikes
There are two different bikes required for cycling, one for road season and one for track season, however junior riders are permitted to race on their own bike whether that be a BMX or standard bike. Please present your bikes to a club member so they can be checked to make sure they are in good working order.
Club Bikes
The club does have a limited number of club bikes available, these may be borrowed for one season. At the end of the season the bikes must be returned to the club, however if required they can be borrowed for an additional season/s. If you would like to request a club bike please see one of the management committee.
